how i got here
I met computers at three, playing online games on an old beige desktop with a CRT monitor. Before I knew what I wanted to be, I was already making things: cat stories, songs, plans to become a scientist. Underneath it all was a love for taking things apart: I opened old PSPs and MP3 players, swapped charging ports, and treated every broken device like a puzzle.
During COVID I designed a whole social media app on paper out of boredom, and a fan account accidentally introduced me to Carrd, Neocities and the strange little world of internet design. Things I made for fun became interfaces, and eventually, engineering.
University pointed the same instinct at games, Assembly, AI, ML, hardware and red-team security. The tools kept changing; the reason never did. I wanted to understand things deeply enough to rebuild them as my own. I'm still a design engineer first: someone who can turn an idea into almost anything, usually after at least one breakdown.
